Development Manager (Denmark)Copenhagen, DenmarkClosing Date: Wed, 28 Feb 2024As development manager in Texthelp Nordics, you will be managing three teams of developers across two locations: Albertslund and Malmö. The teams are working together, and this will get even more so in the future. Being a development manager you will be the servant leader that helps your teams at each location succeed. You will work with both developers, teamleads, linguists, implementation specialists and product management to mention a few. Together with the teams you will continue to develop first class software helping students and people living with dyslexia to understand and be understood. We are a tight knit bunch, and enjoy our work. We are proud of the impact our software has, and the way it really helps our customers. We believe that technical people should be led by other technical people. Therefore, though you will not be coding, your background is probably as developer, software engineer or similar. Also we expect you to have solid project management experience in a tech setup. Most of our work is done through classical agile methodologies, But on occasion, regular timeboxed projects need to be run.

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development best practices, be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and be passionate about delivering innovative software solutions. The Swedish office is currently located in Lund C, but will move to Malmö C near the central station in the summer. You will primarily work within your own team, but we are working closely together with our sister-department in Copenhagen/Albertslund and the border between teams is sometimes a little blurred. In traditional Scandinavian style, the company structure is quite flat, and you will be close to both your stakeholders, product owners, customers and country leadership.

Social Media ManagerRemote, United KingdomClosing Date: Sun, 25 Feb 2024As our new Social Media Manager, you’ll join the central marketing function and be our in-house expert. You’ll own, measure, optimise and provide leadership on everything social media. You'll work closely with our Heads of Marketing and Head of Digital Content to use our platforms to help build Texthelp’s reputation and profile with key global audiences by delivering digital content that will inform, inspire and engage these audiences. You’ll work on multiple paid social media campaigns simultaneously throughout the year, across each of our business divisions. You’ll have strong planning and operational skills to manage the successful implementation of those campaigns. And you’ll have equally good analytical skills to optimise performance, in order to drive awareness, reach, engagement and lead generation. The perfect candidate will have the right combination of ambition, judgement, multi-channel expertise, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to be successful.

The successful candidate for this role will work on software which will help identify students who are reading below grade level and show their path to understand text through listening (”ear” reading) compared to traditional “eye” reading. Using this software, students will gain access to grade level text for real inclusion outcomes!.
