We understand the importance of putting users at the heart of our product design and development process. We’re committed to understanding the needs of all our user groups, including those with different disabilities.

- What is the Disability and Accessibility Network?
The Disability and Accessibility Network is a group of people with disabilities, visible and invisible, who experience challenges online or with online products. As a member of the network, you’ll get hands on with our products and services. These could be tools in the early stages of development or products which are already established. You’ll take part in surveys, focus groups and interviews with us.
- Why did Texthelp launch the Disability and Accessibility Network?
We’re committed to understanding the needs of our users with disabilities and other challenges. The Disability and Accessibility Network is a new forum that will allow us to connect with you and place you at the heart of our product design process. This will help us make sure that our products are as accessible and user friendly as possible.
- How do I join the Disability and Accessibility Network?
Simply complete the form on this page. If you would prefer, you can also sign up by email accessibilitynetwork@texthelp.com. You can also leave the Network at any time by emailing accessibilitynetwork@texthelp.com.
- Do I get paid for my time?
We value your time and be sure to recompense you for it. Examples are:
- User testing session / focus groups - we’ll pay £75 per person. The duration will be advised in advance and may vary slightly on the day.
- Surveys - £10
- Interviews - £30-£45 depending on length, typically 45 min.
- Will my information remain confidential?
Yes. All your information will remain confidential and will only be accessed by staff involved in projects related to the network. Read more on Texthelp’s Privacy Policy.
- What happens if I decide this is not for me?
You do not have to remain part of our Disability and Accessibility Network. If you decide to be part of this group and you later change your mind, you have the right to drop out at any time. We’ll be sad to see you go, but it’s your choice and you are not obligated to participate.
