Content Marketing Specialist

Job Overview/Purpose

Working closely with Campaign Managers and the Demand Generation team for an integrated content approach to marketing campaigns.  

You will be responsible for driving ideas for content and then turning those ideas into concise, compelling copy that will drive engagement with target audiences across multiple online and offline platforms.

You will be a talented copywriter with a flair for creating exceptional content. Your proofreading and editing skills will be top notch and you will be confident conceptualising ideas for great content.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Educated to degree level. 
  • Experience (3+ years) of marketing and communications in a business environment (ideally with some relevant market background.)
  • Relevant digital media planning, strategy and implementation experience, to include social media marketing, email marketing, website management, search and paid marketing.
  • Experience of managing and executing digitally driven campaigns, including messaging, influencer mapping, stakeholder identification and targeting, and reporting.
  • Familiar with social channels including, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest 
  • Familiar with analytics, reporting and social listening tools such as HootSuite, Tweetdeck, Buzzsumo or Sysomos etc.
  • Demonstrable understanding of issues based dialogue with key audience groups and establishing communities around topics and themes. 
  • Ability to think creatively and bring innovative approaches to campaigns.
  • Experience of working with any external suppliers to integrate digital strategy across all platforms and channels.

Key Responsibilities


  • Creating and producing effective digital content, for the benefit of Texthelp and our audiences and to differentiate us from competitors, including but not limited to, content on our website(s), social media, thought leadership, media outreach & partnerships, gated content & email nurturing content, infographics, video production, case studies and webinars.
  • Copywriting across a multitude of channels. Applying a consistent brand narrative, style, messaging and tone of voice approach across content, channels and markets.  This includes gaining real insight and understanding of the topical discussion areas for our audiences to enable effective engagement and outreach on our key issues. (Working with market research specialist, and sales/marketing teams.)
  • Developing, and working within, a varied & topical audience-centric content calendar, including workflows from ideas generation to publishing, that supports campaign plans, quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and business priorities.
  • Working as part of a cross functional agile team to identify and create synergies with relevant online PR, event, and digital content approaches to form an integrated communications campaign as agreed by the Campaign Manager/s.
  • Leverage market insights, user stories & deliverables and search terms to shape themes / topics and Texthelp’s point of view.
  • Collaborate across the organisation and externally source and craft content of relevance to Texthelp’s audiences.
  • Build a network of influencers, contributors and partnerships to support content creation.
