Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist supports the implementation of strategic campaigns and product releases for the North American education market. Working as part of a Global (Group) Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for activities aimed at raising awareness, generating leads, nurturing leads and customer retention. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with other members of the Group Marketing team including; Content Generation, Events, Marketing Data and Automation, and Design, as well as internal stakeholders from Sales and Product Development.

  • Support strategic campaigns with Group Marketing counterparts, for activities such as email marketing, nurture program development, webinar set-up and recruitment, social media, conference/event logistics, collateral production, case studies and reporting.  
  • Fulfill the role of Project Owner for tactical campaigns; responsible for the brief which includes setting objectives, implementing strategy and suggested deliverables as well as timings for audience focused communications - gaining input and agreement from relevant stakeholders. 
  • Work with the Campaign Manager and Marketing Data Analyst to set objectives and metrics for success for relevant campaigns.
  • Use the marketing infrastructure to monitor the effectiveness of all campaigns and activities, providing regular marketing performance reporting and ongoing recommendations to increase effectiveness and ROI. 
  • Work together with discipline specialists (in-house Design team and outside agencies) to create effective marketing assets
  • Support data management, quality, and reporting for lead and campaign data in CRM systems (Sugar & Mautic)
  • Budget management and processing including purchase orders/expenditure
  • Additional Marketing and Sales support as directed by Line Manager
