.Net Developer

Working in the software development team in our new Antrim offices, the .Net developer will work on our Windows based products. We work at the leading edge of end-user software in Northern Ireland, developing software that literally changes lives. The latest cool tech and techniques is where we work, and user experience is always to the forefront of what we do. This role is being recruited for the continued expansion of our development team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the design and implementation of software projects which the company will allocate. Continuous support for internal company procedures including, but not restricted to, quality assurance systems.

  • Continuous monitoring of new technologies with a view to identifying new opportunities for the Company.

  • Liaison with 3rd party suppliers of technology components as and when appropriate

  • Liaison with Quality Assurance department and other Company departments as and when appropriate.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Degree or equivalent in computing or a closely related subject (Engineering).

  • At least 2 years commercial programming experience

  • .NET development background

  • Javascript experience

  • Commercial experience of .Net application development

  • Working knowledge of other development languages (especially JavaScript)

Desirable Criteria

  • 2.1 degree or better in computing.

  • Experience of working in a project using an agile development methodology

  • SQL or other Database experience

  • WPF development

  • Web design (CSS, HTML, HTML5 etc.)

  • Web services development

  • Current JavaScript libraries experience

  • Experience of working within a quality system

  • Experience of creating User Interfaces
