Territory Sales Director

Working within the Education division, this role requires a results-focused and forward-thinking individual with a can-do attitude. This individual will be expected to engage with a range of K12 and Post Secondary personas including Tech Integration Specialists, Special Ed Teachers and Administrators, and Curriculum and Title Directors. Key responsibilities include networking, selling, and supporting these external stakeholders throughout the entire sales process with assistance from inside sales specialists to achieve the division’s strategic goals within a specific geographic territory.

Main Responsibilities


  • Identify opportunities and onboard customers through sales, pilot and presentations in the K12 and Post Secondary education sectors within an assigned territory.

  • Manage and keep up-to-date all sales and customer interactions in sales CRM.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPI objectives.

  • Follow-up on all available leads and generate pipeline in accordance with goals assigned by management.

  • Work with internal teams to collaborate on marketing and territory plans.

  • Contribute positively at all company meetings.

  • Provide timely reports and feedback to management.



Person Specification


Essential Criteria


  • Minimum of five years sales experience ideally selling into the K-12 and HE markets.

  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills.

  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • A proven track record in generating sales and winning new business.

  • Experience in building robust personal relationships and providing excellent customer service at all levels of the business.

  • College Degree required.

Desirable Criteria


  • Knowledge of operating in a SaaS business environment.

  • Demonstrable track record of driving incremental revenue generation from existing and new customers.

  • Experience with social media platforms in a B2B environment (e.g. LinkedIN).

  • Well organized and detail-oriented.

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
