What's new with Browsealoud?

We've made some improvements to the Browsealoud Customer Portal to make your experience a little more enjoyable

Self-service is quickly becoming our customer’s preferred method of interacting with us.  And, it makes sense - they get to find the information about Browsealoud they need in a fast, efficient and secure way.

So, we made some improvements to the Browsealoud Customer Portal to make your experience a little more enjoyable.

What’s New

Find contracts and URLs quicker

Sort your contracts and URLs in alphabetical order using filtered columns.  Don’t forget, you already have a free-type search box too.

More easily configure your Browsealoud

The configuration steps are easier to follow - we removed the clutter.  You’ll find advice on where best to add the code and specific instructions for those of you with Wordpress sites.

For the finer detail on what’s new, see below.

Browsealoud Portal Update 2017

Contracts List

  • Filtered columns allowing users to sort each of the columns in alphabetical order to help you find contracts more easily

URL List

  • Filtered columns and a search box allowing users to sort each of the columns in alphabetical order and to search for a specific URL to help you find contracts more easily
  • Removed three columns of information: ‘date modified’, ‘wizard checkbox’, and ‘visit site’ as this information is unnecessary

  • Added a reminder to save your settings if you attempt to browse to another page before saving so you don’t lose your settings
  • Once you save your settings, the page will automatically scroll down prompting you to complete the final steps to integrate Browsealoud reminding you to complete all the necessary steps
  • The Browsealoud code is now ‘read only to prevent errors when copying and pasting into your CMS

Misc

  • Fixed a few bugs ‘under the hood’ for better all round performance
