DSA Connect: Empowering different learners

The right support makes a world of difference in education.

Taking place on Thursday 4th May, DSA Connect will celebrate the essential support provided by the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) to disabled and neurodivergent students.

Whether you're an Assessor, SENCO, AT specialist or student, come along to hear what assistive technology can do to empower all learners to meet their potential.

At this free virtual event...

You'll hear from students and assessors about all aspects of the DSA experience. Plus, neurodiversity experts and people with lived experience will share how technology can support all kinds of learning needs.

Sessions will cover:

  • How disability and neurodiversity can affect learning
  • How to support different learning needs
  • The assistive tools available from Texthelp
  • The experiences of DSA students past and present

Plus, we'll share the findings from our research into the experiences of neurodivergent university students (in partnership with Censuswide).

Last year's attendees said...

The whole event was fantastic, and because it was virtual it meant all team members who were working yesterday could attend.
