Over the last year we’ve introduced dozens of updates (both small and large) to Fluency Tutor for Google to help students and teachers get the most out of the friendly Chrome app. This includes things like comprehension questions, data exporting, more reading levels, easier ways to purchase, and more. All designed to develop reading fluency online.
If you’ve used Fluency Tutor before, you probably know that it comes with nearly 500 reading passages out of the box. All free and sortable by Lexile level or reading age. In addition, there are student and teacher share extensions that allow you to create a Fluency Tutor passage from any Google Doc or web page.
