2 Million Users and Counting

We’re super excited (and humbled) to let everyone know that Read&Write for Google Chrome crossed the 2 million user mark in September! To celebrate we’re giving away free access to software and more. Keep reading for details…

Used by millions of students

A little background - Read&Write for Google Chrome was introduced only a couple of years ago as a free reading extension for Google Docs. At the time no one could have predicted the unbelievably fast growth of Google Apps for Education. With millions of users migrating over to Google’s suite of educational tools, many were left searching for supports to help with reading and writing. Read&Write helped to fill this need and more by adding additional features beneficial to all learners. From there, the extension’s popularity quickly spread to the now millions of users worldwide!

And there’s no sign of things slowing down... Since crossing the 2 million user mark last month, over 400,000 additional individuals have starting using Read&Write. Click on the infographic below to view highlights many of the user statistics we are seeing today.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the awesome people (like those of you reading this blog) that have used and shared Read&Write with others. As a thanks, we are making our newest Read&Write for Google Chrome feature, Voice Notes, free for the month of October*.

But wait, there’s more… We are also giving away 100 premium licenses to one of our other Google products - Fluency Tutor for Google™. Winners will receive access to all of the current and future premium features of Fluency Tutor for 1 year. Entering to win is easy - just fill out this form before Friday, October 16th and you will be entered to win**.

We’ll also be celebrating live at the annual Closing the Gap conference next week. If you’re attending, be sure to stop by the Texthelp booth (#605-607) and to grab a free t-shirt before they're gone!

*The voice note features in Read&Write for Google Chrome will be disabled for non-premium users on November 1, 2015. To purchase the premium version of Read&Write for Google Chrome visit: http://rw.texthelp.com/drive/Support/premium.
