Jackie Iannone, M.Ed., a higher education professional with over 10 years of experience will dive into the current landscape of college students, exploring their diverse backgrounds, aspirations, and obstacles.
She will also discuss how Generation Alpha (born 2010 – 2024), the next generation of students, will impact higher education and what institutions will need to do to prepare. Mental health, financial pressures, and the growing demand for personalized learning will be addressed, alongside actionable advice on how educators and administrators can best support these students to succeed in an increasingly complex educational environment.
Jackie will also share an activity that participants can use with their teams to prompt thoughts and actions around meeting the needs of both today’s and tomorrow’s students. The webinar will end with a 15 minute Q&A moderated by Everway’s Higher Education Specialist, Rachel Kruzel.

Jackie Iannone, M.Ed. serves as the Director of Student Advising & Success at Babson College. She holds a B.S. in Business Management from Lesley University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education from Suffolk University. With over a decade of experience in higher education, Jackie has dedicated her career to supporting undergraduate students. Her experience includes academic advising, accessibility services, and career development.
Jackie is passionate about supporting student success. She believes in the power of creating meaningful career and academic connections for students, valuing the holistic student experience, providing opportunities for student self-authorship, and staying adaptable in the ever-evolving landscape of higher education.
